Champa Devi, a new residential campus for up to 400 Maharishi Vedic Pandits now under construction in Nepal is set to open this May. The campus is set high above the city of Kathmandu with a beautiful view of the Himalayas, and is designed using the principles of Maharishi Vastu architecture, which establish individual life in accord with the cosmic intelligence of Nature.

This auspicious location and Vastu construction will allow the Graha Shanti Maharishi Yagya performances there to be most effective in enlivening support of Natural Law for the Yajamanas—the donors who provide financial support for these Yagya performances.

In addition, every Pandit living at the campus will practice Maharishi’s programs to develop consciousness. This means that their yagya performance is based in Para or Transcendental Consciousness. Rik Veda describes Transcendental Consciousness as the field of the Veda and home of the Devatas, the impulses of creative intelligence and laws of Nature which uphold all of creation.

The Champa Devi complex will also have educational facilities for advanced training in Maharishi Vedic Science. There are now nearly 90 Gurukuls or schools for young pandits throughout the country that receive financial support from the donations of those who sponsor Maharishi Yagya performances.

At this time more than 2,500 young pandits, after their morning TM and TM-Sidhi practice, are connected by videoconference to perform the Rudrabishek yayga together. This is the same special yagya for peace that is performed by senior pandits in the Brahmasthan of India.

This daily connection and simultaneous performance by the young pandits in their schools creates a ‘virtual Adi-Rudrabishek’, a large daily Vedic performance to enliven peace, progress and prosperity, especially for the USA which is supplying so much of the funding.

We will keep you informed on the progress of the Champa Devi campus, and provide additional details in the future about a second campus under construction in an auspicious part of India.
